Will I get my package at the same time as my mail comes through USPS?

I ordered something off ebay a week ago and it was shipped priority mail. It had a tracking number and everything. So i've been watching it and it said it is out on delivery now. I live in the middle of nowhere and my post office is less than a mile away and there really aren't that many houses since I live in a small country town. I checked my mailbox and my mail arrived but not my package.....Should I call the post office or what? Because this package is really important, and I'm a little pissed that this mailman always has a problem delivering my mail for some reason. I had to complain about it before, just because I recently moved in with my boyfriend and have a different last name.
