well...no matter what you should still try to be friends and talk to him. You need to hang with your friends and maybe even socialize with new people. Just have a girl night with your best friend but plan stuff to do. You wanna plan stuff because you don't wanna have and open mind cause it could wander to him. If it didn't work out theres someone out there better for you. hope i helped(:
